According to Kenji’s blog in Japanese (our translation isn’t great) that he is with a new team for 2008. That team is Signal Auto. We have heard for a while that Kenji was no longer with JIC Magic/Hankook and might be looking for a new ride. It appears Kenji might be driving the S13 pictured below? We should find out more details after Formula D Pre Season tech. It looks like it could be an exciting season for Kenji. Rumors have been speculating that he has another team he will be driving for in NOPI as well.

 In an official release sent out by Maxxis we found two new drivers on their Formula D roster for 2008. In reference to their 2008 photoshoot we found Quoc Ly on the list who was tireless at events like the Formula D Pro Am finals in his pink 240sx.

The other driver we found on the Maxxis Tires list was Justin Pawlak  in his Mazda Rx-7. Justin was formerly with Dunlop Tires.

Go visit Super Autobachs and check out all the new Formula D rides before the new season gets started. The event takes place on March 29th from 9am-6pm at Super Autobachs in Stanton, California.

NOPI Motorsports is excited about the 2008 race season. NOPI has already generated huge momentum coming into the 2008 season with the announcement of the new NOPI DRAG Racing series sanctioned by the NHRA. With this merger it will allow a whole new audience the chance to enjoy NOPI Motorsports in a way they have never before. With this excitement comes news of NOPI’s new TV package for 2008. NOPI is partnering with America One Television and AMGTV (Broadcast, cable and satellite stations) to bring fans the best race and show package possible. This new partnership will bring each episode of NOPI TV into over 100 million homes. New episodes begin airing early July through the end of December. NOPI TV will be available on America One stations, Tuesdays at 11 p.m eastern and on AMG stations, Saturday at 4 p.m. eastern. Reruns for NOPI TV will be announced.
