We have the exclusive content from the Formula D International event that took place at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore over the weekend. It was a great event that sold out with pre sale tickets and they had to turn away thousands of Drifting fans ready to see Formula D in action! Casper Canul (piloting a red Supra), Ryuji Miki drove the D1 APEX Rx-7, and Conrad enjoyed the RSR s2000 for the weekend! These guys all performed well as Ryuji Miki ended up taking home top honors with a first place finish!

We got the word that Round 3 will remain on June 14th and the event will remain in the great state of New Jersey but we will have a venue shift to Englishtown Raceway. Englishtown definitely has TONS of Drifting heritage for those of you who are unaware. It’s almost an exciting move as some of the original East Coast Drift events took place at this track under the guidance of Drift Alliance Founder Tony Angelo and Matt Petty! Club Loose still holds tons of events at the track and D1 has graced the course last year and threw an event to a huge crowd!
Don’t miss it. Formulad.com has the update on the main page and you can purchase tickets now!

HKS was kind enough to throw out a photo of the new vinyl setup on NOB’s car. We at Wrecked cannot wait to see it this weekend at Fuji for Round 2 of the D1 Grand Prix!

This is some production footage “leaked” of Fast and the Furious 4. We have a sneaky suspicion that it was leaked by Universal Pictures but oh well. We have been keeping you posted on what is happening with the film so here goes nothing. This footage looks like a mix of the four car race from the original Fast and the Furious and the parking garage races of Tokyo Drift (FF3). The movie is reportly focused mainly on Drifting but this possibly shows a tad otherwise. That is our Fast and the Furious 4 report for now, enjoy the fake start to a race from the film!

It was actually broken by a comment on the blog earlier today from a certain judge but he claims that it is potential that the NOPI Drift event the first weekend of May will be held on the road course at Englishtown instead of the parking lot. After talking to some locals they said it will be a HUGE deal if they are able to take over the road course. It’s suppose to be one of the most exciting layouts used in Drifting around the United States. We will keep you informed as this story unfolds!
Cliffnotes: Possible that the Englishtown event will be held at the road course instead of the parking lot. Nothing is confirmed as of now.
