Jason Jiovani who drove in NOPI Drift last year in the brown XAT S13 is the new NOPI judge starting this weekend who will replace Mike Peters on the judges stand. Jason is a driver from Florida who participated in NOPI Drift last year in the car seen above. He will be in place this weekend in St. Louis to replace Mike Peters.

that was fast
ahahahaha werd.
That article could have been two sentences shorter…heh…real repetitive. Anyway, I hear that Jason is a good guy, but doesn’t really have all that much drift experience. Hopefully he’ll work out, and hopefully NOPI’s learning its lesson.
dang that was fast..
hopefully nopi won’t put so much on the judges at the enxt event.. (maybe just judging?)
Haha collin, it was quite repetitive… repetitive… repeti-
In any case… I’ve was first drifting here and there in 2001 with Bill Sherman in his old hachi (although he kicked my ass of course), I know a LOT about it, but I know I’m still new to the “Pro scene” and I know I’m not a D1 champ driver. I hope to meet lots of new people this year and provide a fun, professional experience starting in St.Louis. See you there.
I think that Jason has decent experience; however, the one big reason why he gets my support:
He is not an a$$hole.
Hi everyone. We’ve had to make a change up in our judging staff due to Mike Peters recent departure. Due to time constraints Jason Jiovani will be assisting us this weekend at the St Louis event. As of now Jason may/may not be the final 3rd judge as we are also working with several others to fill that spot.
Watching the St Louis videos, and talking to the rest of the staff it seems that we will have a much smoother event weekend for drivers and fans.
Believe me, the drifting world would be great if we had more Jasons in the scene. ive been watching him drift for years
Jason,
Good deal man. I hope you do right by the drift community and not just NOPI. Maybe you can fix some of their asshattery? Good luck brother.
Stay sideways.
Yay Jason is an awesome dude. Just the kind of person you want in the judges chair. Go Jason!
wait who is this guy?
“it seems that we will have a much smoother event weekend for drivers and fans”
nowhere to go but up. how could it possibly get worse?
jason is a cool dude he placed 2nd at the USD championships at Mid-Ohio the year before last making the trek from FL. grats man.
Congrats Jason!!
he’s no mike peters!
yo jason is the man ive know him for awhile and he may not be a forula d driver but he is still a damn good drifter i saw him tearing it up in stpete for the honda grand prix and he was killing it and everyone wanted to know who he was so this is a way to get his name out there more i think and he will do the whole drifting community well i know
