New Nissan 350z Spotted with Daijiro Yoshihara Formula D Decals?

These got sent to us on a tip from a reader today. He said these were taken at the Japanese-American museum a few days ago. It looks to be that Ken Gushi’s Scion tC was on display along with a new Nissan 350z with a Formula D badge numbered 009 and Yoshihara. The number #9 has been run by Daijiro Yoshihara for the 2008 Formula D season on his Bridgestone Tires Pontiac GTO. Noteably the car is sporting some Yokohama decals so we cannot find out any information. This car doesn’t seem to have any affiliation with RMR (Rhys Millen Racing) other than the matching HKS sponsorship but we really cannot seem to find out much other than that. We aren’t really sure about this car and haven’t been able to find out much information but is it a potential 2009 Drift car that snuck out early? Send us any tips or information you have on this project.

The logo on the front bumper is the new Pac Rim logo and it has a I Love Drifting sticker which is a Pac Rim product right on that bumper as well.
if this is true…it will be SO good to see daijirosan back in a japanese car
honestly forget the Z / Dai in a Jcar part, its good to see Pac-rim back on the scene possibly!

Hi everyone. This is Dai. Actually this was just a mix up. The 350Z is a show car and they used it at a marketing seminar. They want to have a tie into drifting and FD so they use my number plates. WTF! I had no idea that this was even there. Sorry this is not my demo car or car for 2009. I have no connection to this car.

It’s Andy Kim from Performance Nissan’s car. Same car that was on the cover of Modified last year, black with red-accented volks. Also was in the Nissan booth at SEMA with Ings+1 vinyl on it.
