Check out this crazy video that was sent to us from one of our favorite D1 tracks. At this grassroots Japanese event a car gets loose and slides right past the barrier and slams into a photographer throwing him onto his car. Crazy! This is a reminder to be safe at the events you attend and always pay attention when your in a hot zone. Luckily it appears the photographer was alright.

We have been adding sections and content to the site by the hour it seems like lately so we wanted to update you on a new video channel we launched this morning. The D1 Grand Prix now has it’s own channel on our video site featuring some cool stuff like Japanese Falken Commercials and other rare company commercials aired only in Japan! We even have some Option DVD trailers, Drift Tengoku, and more!

After the guys at Rogue Status told us they wanted to be a part of the new Wrecked Magazine video section we just couldn’t refuse. We gave these guys a green light to put whatever footage they want in their respective channel on the blog. For those of you unfamiliar with the clothing company Rogue Status check them out here. The 2008 D1GP series Round 6 event at Ebisu Circuit is now complete and Dino fought the rain and baby ninjas to get us some awesome coverage from the event. As we reported before Kumakubo took home the victory at his home track. Check out the gallery by clicking here

2008 Formula D Seattle Review

Formula D Las Vegas saw some mind blowing wrecks mostly focused at turn 2. Catch Rhys Millen smash into the wall while battling Yoshioka! Sam Hubinette and Chris Forsberg both overdrive the turn and put the rear end into the wall hard over the weekend as well. Don’t miss all the action from the event in the City of Sin!

X-Games 14 Rally Accident - Evo Flips!

ACP rally short changed the jump in the NOS Energy Drink Mitsubishi Evo and flipped the car into oblivion. It was the highlight of the rally weekend taking the top accident award by far! For those of you who follow Drift Mania closely you would recognize this Evo and the driver from competitions in Canada. Andrew Comrie-Picard has competed in Drifting and has been rumored to be visiting Formula D soon. We figured this was a great reason to talk about him after his X-Games 14 action packed crash. We were actually out at X-Games and have some great video footage to put up from this accident very soon. So stay tuned to the blog.
