EDITORIAL AND MEDIA SUBMISSIONS
Thank you for your Interest in submitting to Wrecked Magazine!
This page provides guidelines for submitting, whether for our online platforms or print edition, and offers tips on the best ways to get your photos, videos, or story ideas in front of our editors.
The easiest way is to submit things that are related to drifting. It doesn't need to be 100% exclusive to drifting, as there are plenty of other things that crossover or apply to drifting from other motorsports or regular everyday life things. So feel free to think outside the box, it makes the world more colorful.
Most importantly, we encourage you to submit photos, videos, and stories as often as you like.
Thank you,
the Wrecked Team
NEWS TIPS a.k.a. RUMOR MILL
[Most] everyone loved Wrecked's Rumor Mill, so we're bringing it back. Let's embrace the leaks and gossip and find out what's going on in drifting early and make it more exciting. While there are plenty of other sites and social accounts that make memes or spoofs on drifting, we will try as diligently as possible to only report on things that we know to the best of our ability are accurate. Please do not submit made-up stories, there's already plenty of accounts you can share those with and we don't want to compete with them (plus, we probably already follow them anyways cause they're funny).
If you have a breaking story, leaked photos, etc. please feel free to submit them to us on our social accounts. We won't reveal our sources (unless you want us to credit you). A good tip is specific, backed up by evidence or documentation, and includes the names of people or organizations whom we can contact to verify the information if needed.
We review all messages we receive but may not respond to all of them. If our staff have questions, they may reach out to you on the platform where you contacted us. Remember, we have nothing without you.
GUIDELINES FOR FREELANCE WRITERS
- Attach your story submission as a Microsoft Word or RTF document and email it to wreckedmagazine@gmail.com.
- Be sure to include your name, phone number, social media handles, and mailing address in the email.
- Make sure to have grammar and spell-check enabled when writing your story, those who do have a better chance of getting selected.
- Avoid double-spacing between words and lines.
GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
We receive hundreds of photo submissions, so sorting through them takes time. We appreciate your patience, but we cannot respond individually to every submission.
