Dodge Just Built Two 750HP Drift Missiles Out of Charger Scat Packs

Dodge didn't just slap a wing on a Charger and call it a drift car. They went full send.
Working with Hemmings' Mike Musto and fabricator Suppy Wejpanich of Suppy's Garage, the automaker tore into two production '26 Charger Scat Packs and rebuilt them from the ground up as purpose-built competition drift cars, the Charger BOOST Coupe and the four-door Charger RPM. Both dropped their debut at Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, with pro drifters Corey "The Boss" Hosford and Micah Diaz putting them through their paces.
The starting point for both builds was the same: a 550-hp, twin-turbo SIXPACK H.O. Scat Pack. From there, the build team ripped out the factory AWD/automatic setup entirely and converted both cars to RWD with competition manual gearboxes, custom bellhousings, and reworked driveline hardware.. because nobody's collecting trophies at a drift event with a slushbox and all-wheel drive.
Where the two cars split is boost. The BOOST Coupe runs a single big-turbo conversion off a Turbosmart setup, while the RPM keeps things twin-turbo but heavily reworked, also through Turbosmart. Both get custom intake and exhaust, MoTeC engine management, relocated cooling up front, and custom fuel systems to keep 750 buff horses fed.
The chassis work is where it gets serious for anyone who's actually built a drift car: full suspension overhaul for increased steering angle, custom clutch kits, heavy-duty shafts, comp-spec axles and hubs, and a Bulldog quick-change diff out back. Inside, drivers get a proper three-pedal clutch setup, hydraulic handbrake, and a drift-tuned brake system. Plus, the interiors got gutted for full cage, containment seats, and multi-point harnesses. Outside, custom hoods with integrated exhaust outlets, widened fenders, a rear wing, and custom taillights round it out, sitting on American Racing wheels wrapped in X-Comp HP rubber.
The kicker: both cars went from concept to competition-ready in roughly 60 days. Hemmings is documenting the whole build in a nine-part video series, with episodes already up on their YouTube.
