With yesterday's announcement of the addition of Chris Forsberg, Kenda Tire has finalized their 2026 roster of sponsored Formula Drift drivers, and it’s pretty stacked. They’re looking to build on a strong 2025 season for the team, and announced that the following rippers will fill out their roster:
Fredric Aasbo
Trenton Beechum
Jhonnatan Castro
Nate Chen
Chris Forsberg
Ken Gushi
Tommy Lemaire
Derek Madison
Wataru Masuyama
Simen Olsen
Daniel Stuke
Ryan Tuerck
That list is comprised of some of the most consistent heavy-hitters on the PRO roster, including two three-time champs in Aasbo and Forsberg. Aasbo, Castro and Tuerck all secured top ten finishes last season, helping to lead Kenda to a second place finish in the FD Tire Cup. Up-and-coming talent is well represented by 2024 PROSPEC champ Tommy Lemaire, coming off his rookie PRO season, and Nate Chen, making the step up to PRO this year as 2025 second place PROSPEC finisher.
Kenda’s strong support of drifting and continuing innovation means they will continue to strive to keep their drivers equipped with cutting-edge tire technology as they hunt for the top step of the podium. Team drivers will be rocking their VEZDA UHP MAX+ again this season, the same tire that proved highly competitive against other elite manufacturers’ offerings. The Kenda team kicks off their campaign this weekend at FD Round One in Long Beach, CA.
