NOS Energy Drink and Forsberg Racing Split in 2026

The End of an Era
It's only January 2nd and we already have news for the 2026 Formula DRIFT season courtesy of first three-time Formula DRIFT Champion Chris Forsberg (2009, 2014, 2016), owner of Forsberg Racing. Chris just dropped a video on his Youtube page (link below) explaining that after 20 years of working with NOS Energy Drink, that they will no longer be partnering together this year. This comes as a surprise since he's been representing the NOS Energy Drink brand for 2 decades and was their first athlete.
Forsberg Remains Positive
Forsberg mentions that his team has always been creative and produced some amazing content over the years with his program. Now that this door has been closed, a new door will be opened allowing them the ability to create even more while referencing off-road and road racing.
No More NOS. What's Next for Forsberg Racing?
Chris Forsberg just dropped a video tonight announcing that after 20 years, NOS Energy Drink and Chris Forsberg Racing won't be together in 2026. Forsberg also mentions some other things going on with his team and a hint at an unreleased documentary he self-funded 2 years ago.
