Pennzoil Named Official Motor Oil of Formula DRIFT PRO Series

Formula DRIFT has locked in a new multi-year deal with Pennzoil, naming the lubricant giant the Official Motor Oil of the PRO Championship Series starting with the 2026 season.
The partnership formalizes what’s already been a deep presence in the paddock. Pennzoil has backed top-tier talent for years, and that roster remains intact heading into the new season including defending five-time champion James Deane, two-time title holder Vaughn Gittin Jr., 2023 PROSPEC champ Ben Hobson, and Federico Sceriffo. All four drivers will play a central role in the brand’s Formula DRIFT presence.

Beyond the cars and the teams, the brand will increase its footprint at events and across Formula DRIFT’s global livestreams. On-site activations are planned for Formula DRIFT Long Beach and Formula DRIFT Atlanta, with fan-facing elements like car displays, product showcases, and driver appearances.
For Formula DRIFT, it’s another major partner tied directly to the competitive side of the sport. For Pennzoil, it’s a deeper investment in a discipline that doesn’t offer easy conditions—or easy wins.
